ABOUT OUR BUSINESS

Founded in 1937 by Les Becker, who ran a small appliance and electrical shop on main street Rocky Mountain House. Later, around 1946, his son Ken Becker started to work with him and later took the business over until 1984 when Gordon Van’tBosch and Peter DeBruyn took the reigns. As the business grew, the small shop also needed to grow, so in 1988 the new shop was built at 5202 44 St in Rocky with a 2800 sq ft showroom and 4850 sq ft warehouse for appliances and electrical parts. The current owners, Ron and Chris bought the business in 2015.

ABOUT OUR STAFF

Our appliance service department has one journeyman appliance service tech with 16+ years experience. He works on most major appliance brands whether purchased from us or not and has experience repairing commercial ranges, washer & dryers, and dishwashers. We have one dedicated appliance parts person that can order in the parts if you prefer to DIY. Our sales staff are friendly, personable and knowledgeable about the products we sell. They will work hard to find you the right appliance for your home or business. Once you have found the right appliances, our delivery crew can be hired to professionally deliver, set up and install and even dispose of your old ones.

ABOUT OUR SERVICE AREA

Our delivery crew and appliance repair technician travel to Eckville and Rimbey and westward to serve Western Central Alberta. Included in that service area is Spruceview, James River, Buck Lake, Alder Flats, most of Clearwater County, and sometimes with special arrangements we even head into the mountains to serve outlying customers.
